Welcome to the website for the Indiana Kappa chapter of Phi Delta Theta. We are located at Ball State University and have been here since 1969. Through the years the Fraternity has seen over 700 men through their college careers.
We strive to instill our values in everyone that passes through our doors. We strive to live everyday up to our three cardinal principals of friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude. We also do our best to raise money for our national philanthropy, the ALS Foundation.
We hope you enjoy your stay at our website and are able to learn a little bit more about us. If you have any questions please Contact Us.
The Indiana Kappa chapter of Phi Delta Theta at Ball State University is negotiating with university officials to regain the old chapter house at 1501 W. Riverside Ave. The current status of negotiation is promising with a five-year plan in the works.
We want to make the donation process as easy as possible. The plan will work like this:
• Go to our web site at www.bsuphidelt.com and look for the Donation area on the right
• Click on the Paypal donation button to start the process
• Follow the instructions on the screen to get everything in motion
There is always a concern of where the donations go and what it is used for. To alleviate those concerns the CAB will receive and manage the funds at all times. As stated above, the money will be used as a reserve fund for the purchase of a house in the future. This will be a fully transparent program for all. Biannual statements will be published to the website showing all cash flows and the CAB will be available for questions at any time.

The men of Indiana Kappa were featured in The Scroll for recuriting the largest pledge class the chapter has seen since 1974. Here is the story. Story originally posted on Phi Delta Theta website.
MUNCIE, IN – On Friday, September 17th the Indiana Kappa Chapter at Ball State University signed the largest Phikeia class the chapter has seen since 1974. The class of 23 has a great mix of established campus leaders and talented young scholars. Utilizing a 365-day recruitment model, the active chapter of 24 members was able to increase their size by 96 percent.
Indiana Kappa does not currently have the luxury of a chapter house on campus, and operates exclusively through holding chapter meetings in campus buildings. In an effort to make recruitment as accessible as possible to all potential new members, a majority of recruitment events are held on campus or at locations immediately surrounding the Ball State campus.
Two years ago the outlook was rather bleak for Indiana Kappa, as membership had dwindled to 14 active members. Due to outstanding recruitment efforts from the active members and a renewed commitment from several alumni the future looks bright for the brothers of Indiana Kappa.
