How much does it cost?

We do have dues each semester that range from around $150 to $250. We have some of the cheapest dues on campus. This money goes to pay Headquarters for membership dues, social events, brotherhood events, and various other expenses to the chapter.

Will there be hazing?

NO. Hazing is strictly forbiden by Ball State and our Headquarters.

What about alcohol?

Alcohol is not permitted on the chapter house premises. Phi Delta Theta is a dry fraternity and was the first to institute alcohol free housing.

Will it hurt my grades?

No. Phi Delta Theta strives to give its members the resources to excell academically. Our members are required to do study hours each week and various other scholastic things throughout the year.

What are the obligations of a member?

Our members have many obligations to the fraternity and the community as a whole. Participation in chapter activities such as chapter meetings, philanthropic events, and brotherhood events is required. There are also scholastic requirements that one must maintain to stay a member. A member must also fulfill all financial obligations to maintain his status as a member.

This sounds like a lot, will i have time for other campus activities

Yes. We encourage all of our members to get envolved on campus and in the community to spread our name and what we stand for.
