Message from the President

Thank you for visiting the website of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at Ball State University. Many people have misperceptions about Greek life, however it would be good for you to know, as an interested member, many of the benefits it can bring to a member. Joining a fraternity means you will acquire a wide network of connections with current members, Alumni across the nation, and Greek members.

Recently there was a movement in our chapter to strive to become this campus’s top Greek organization. Since that moment in time we have greatly increased our campus involvement, community service, and our grades. Current students and faculty of the Greek Life at BSU is quickly noticing the
change in our chapter. We have a variety of leaders who I am proud to call my friends and you would as well. We have not only stepped up to make this organization great, we have taken giant leaps towards a bigger and brighter future. I am honored to work with such a strongly motivated group of men and am really looking forward to this organization’s future.

The members of this organization are expected to live by our three Cardinal Principles: Friendship, Sound Learning, and Moral Rectitude. College is a place where a person can grow and develop into a professional. We offer a wide range of positions and resources that will help you learn to become a team member, communicate effectively, be a professional, and develop and sharpen your leadership skills. The vast amount of friendships made may potentially develop into a job opportunity and can benefit a member for decades in the future. Academics are most important, because that is the reason why you are here. We want you to earn your degree and get your dream job. We will do everything in our power to help you strive to meet and exceed your academic goals academically and make sure you live up to our standards.

You will find that we are very interested in answering any questions you have. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding Phi Delta Theta.

Thank you,

David A. Niedzwiecki
